B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

2008.7.12(SAT)

We cleaned our cabin and pack up all the things after when all the people need to take a shower showered. We were exchanging e-mails and address. We had lots of happy memories here, they’re all sad that they know that we might not be coming back next year.

At breakfast, all of us sit together ( Taylor don’t usually sit with us), and breakfast is cinnamon rolls! Their cinnamon rolls are different than the ones that Auntie made last week. And the frosting taste better, because it’s creamy. Eating the cinnamon rolls with the cereal is good!

At the closing ceremony, lots of people’s parents came, they also sing and dance with us! It was fun, but it’s sad that our friends are leaving. We all hug each others and say goodbye. But it’s good to know that Taylor is coming back at the week after next week.

Mr. Spearman was a bit late to pick us up. He said that there were too many cars on the way, so he comes here at eleven. Before he came, Jenny, Zoe, Eu, and I stay in the dinning hall with Ruth. Eu and I is watching them making bracelets.

We get back to Auntie Beth’s house at about 2:30, because we went shopping in the Cub Food (a big supermarket) in the town. We quickly had hot dog sandwich for lunch after we get back. When we finish our food, Eu and I went fishing with Robbie. This time they buy little fish for bait, but one fish that Auntie caught yesterday ate most of it up. It’s because Auntie put that fish into the container that’s used to put the bait in it. Robbie is angry about that after I told him about this.

It’s pretty windy today in the afternoon, a box of worm fly off the deck and we don’t have time to save it. Well, actually we saved two worms, because, Robbie’s foot block two worms when they fly out. Robbie caught a bass three times and another bass twice, but he let it go when Auntie didn’t notice it. Auntie really wants to eat that fish, it’s bigger than the one caught last week. Auntie is angry about Robbie when he let the fish away.

We finally had rice this week, Auntie cooked rice for dinner. The other dishes are also tasty and delicious. Auntie is a great cook, but it’s really hard to eat rice with knife and fork on a plate. They often sell the rice that’s not sticky here, so chopsticks don’t work well too. For dessert, we had a birthday cake that Jenny bought from the supermarket, the cream on it is really sweet. Too bad that they don’t sell this kind of cake in Taiwan , it taste really good.

After dinner, we went fishing again. But when we are fishing, there are more clouds gathering above us. Auntie is afraid that there will be a storm coming, so we start packing up things. When Auntie and Eu are packing, they let me fish, and I caught a bass! It’s my first try to fish with a hook on it, and no one teach me, they just help me throw the string out and help me pull the fish up. I was too lucky.

And before bed, we played video games and watch TV shows until pretty late at night. We also eat some of the left over cake form dinner to fill our stomach late at night.
