歐洲遊學遊記

I didn’t sleep for a long time because my head is itchy. I didn’t wash my hair last night because I don’t think using the electric drier at ten is a good idea if Saila and her son are going to bed. o.0 I woke up at four in the morning and give up going back to sleep at five. The sun had already rose, and it is orange! I get up started finish typing yesterday’s writing, Karen also woke up. Then I went to wash my hair at about seven. I know that Saila wants us to have only a shower a day, but sorry, I can’t stand the itchy feeling. :P

We had cereal for breakfast. According to our classmates who went to England in the winter, I believe that we are going to have it every day. That’s fine to me. I also asked some questions to Saila. She told us that we have laundry only once a week. o.0 I think that Karen and I will have to deal with the issue about our underpants. Saila said that Karen and I might be separate into different classes because my English is much better than Karen. I’m glad to hear that, but I don’t want to be in a class by my own. Hope I can be in a class with someone else I know.

We wait at the bus stop for a long time because we just miss one, but we still get to school on time. It was a sunny day, hope the weather is fine for the whole day. :)

In the morning, we have a small test to separate us into different levels. Alex is the teacher who’s in charge of most of the Taiwanese students. We have a multiple choice grammar test, a writing exam (we need to write a postcard to our family), and an oral exam. I finished all of the exams very quickly, especially the oral part. Alex is quite surprised about my speech and he said my English is really good, even better than his. I think it’s a bit too exaggerate. :P

I hand in the test paper and then went outside to take some pictures. I really want to have a sketch of the school, but when I took out my notebook, some other people from Taiwan came out too. We chat for a long time while waiting Alex finish marking out test papers. Lisa also took a lot of funny pictures. After Alex extends the time he will finish marking for the third time, we were brought in the class again. Alex tells me that I have a really good grade, and that makes me really want to look at my score, but I know I can’t. He introduced himself and said he have a really long name, I’m thinking that he is joking, well whatever.

All of us introduced ourselves then Alex brought us around school for a short guide. His told us that there is a password to go inside the building, I first I thought he is joking, but then I recognize that’s true in the afternoon.

Lunch is sandwich, there are only five kinds, and I am told that every day is the same five kinds for us to choose. It was so big that I don’t think that I can finish it. 0.0 There is no seat left after we finish taking our lunch, so all of us get to sit on the grass besides the picnic table. There were bees (actually two?) flying around, and some of our students don’t like it. I was surprise to see lots of unfinished sandwiches thrown in the trash can, I really can’t believe that people waste food like this.

We have our first class in the afternoon. There are only three people in our class, Katia from Austria, James from Spain, and our teacher is Georgina. Georgina told us that we are in the Advance class, which is the highest level, and she is happy to have one this week. It seems that there weren’t advanced class two weeks ago, but Georgina told us that we might have more classmates because students might switch classes due to their level.

We went to the city center for the afternoon activity. There was a market there and also a shopping mall. We went shopping with Sharon, and we visit the Chocolate shop, the Disney shop and also a supermarket called Roots. I can’t help it but buy a piece of chocolate for dessert. :P
