B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

Eu and I wake up at seven and go to take a shower, because we don’t had one yesterday. And the same things happened again, Taylor wouldn’t get out of her bed again, it took us a long time to get her up again.

Breakfast is oatmeal, I tried a little, it tastes awful and I think it’s disgusting. It also make me full with the taste that I don’t like. Later we talk about the Verde show on Friday, I lie on the mat and listen. At last I fell a sleep for a while and wake up, I didn’t tell them about this.

Worship is still fun, but I get really hungry after the dance since I just ate a little at breakfast. Now I can keep up with them singing the songs and can dance happily. At quest time, we talk about baptism because today’s topic is to step into water. The rest of the time we play games, there’s a new game is we need to shout out the name on the other side of the blanket when the blanket fall down, the faster one wins.

At lunch we had sandwiches with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, turkey, and ham in it. We also had chips and milk (there is milk in every meal). It’s delicious!

When we are having the dessert, ice bar, they stared to sing the US national anthem, and then they sing the other national anthems of the countries that the counselors are from. Eu and I were sitting with Laura T. She ask us if we wan to go up and sing our national anthem, but both of us shake our head at the same time. We explain that we don’t really need to sing our national anthem so we forgot most of the words. Thanks God that we don’t need to go up this week, but next week? I’m not sure, I better prepare for it.

We played Ultimate Frisbee at camper’s choose after the rest hour with Laura T. and Doug. I’m with L.T. and we get tie or loses on every game, the other team had stronger or taller people. During the game, Jake enters Cooper’s team (because they don’t have a counselor on their team). OK, now, we’ll never win. Later there are people from the sailing camp and enter our game. Though we didn’t win, I always believe that gaining fun is the most important thing while play. Who cares about score, just do your best!

Dinner is Pizza!! Yum… I ate two pieces and had milk. The pizza they made are different that the ones in Taiwan . There are only little pieces of meat, with pizza sauce, and cheese on it. There are no other condiments on the pizza. It tastes different with out the condiments like pepperoni. The shape is also different, they have rectangle pizzas.

After dinner, every cabin gets a different folk tale skit, and we need to act it out. We got an Italian one, which is the longest skit. I’ve already know this story before, but it’s a bit different, because it had been rewrite and added with the Bible. Later, all of us need to act it out at the dinning hall, some cabin even had props or clothing, and on cabin sing a song while acting! It’s very fun to watch, and every cabin did a great job.

Later, after the evening worship, we don’t have adventure unit night. Well, I like and don’t like this news. We don’t need to be disturb by the mosquitoes and we can go to sleep earlier, but we can’t have fun. Erin , invite Kate and Laura T. to come to our cabin to play guitar and sing songs for us. We also don’t have devotion today, because some of the people fell a sleep on the bed while they’re singing. I’m one of it who sleeps, because they played and sing so well.
