It’s better to stay in your hometown

“The best thing to do for your future is to go outside of your country.” That common saying won’t be the truth to some people, because leaving your hometown isn’t the best way to do. You may get homesick after many years away from your home. When you go home, you can see your friends and parents. You can celebrate many holidays or day offs that other countries won’t have. The best thing about going back to your home is that you don’t need to stay with the naughty kids in Taiwan . Being in a country other than your hometown will make a great difference.

 The first reason to go back to your home is that you can see your best friends and your parents. You may bake many cakes with your friend if you go back to your country. You can bake cheese cake, banana cake, yogurt cake, chocolate cheese cake, or even chocolate banana yogurt cake. You can make any kinds of snacks like chocolate yogurt, cheese cookies and even new cakes. You can play with your cousins too! You can play Monopoly or hide and seek or other games. You will have a lot of fun if you do that. A way to be filial to your parents is to visit and look after them; you can do these things if you go back to your country. Baking cakes or playing is easy to do by yourself, but the thing you need to is your friends’ joining.

In the second place, you can celebrate some holidays that Taiwan usually doesn’t have. The coolest thing on January 1st is that you can watch the fireworks display over from the Sydney Harbor . You will be very excited if you went back to your country to see the fireworks that lasts about thirteen hours. On Christmas Day, you will hope to receive gifts in a stocking or under the Christmas tree from the mystery man, Santa Claus. In some stories, Santa Claus wears a thick red, fur-trimmed suit and travels in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. At Christmas; you can have gifts from parents, students, friends, or even classmates. You will have a “gift mountain” after receiving the presents. You will have a Christmas tree with candles or small electric lights, glass baubles, tinsel, snowmen, fake snow and figures of Santa Claus in his red fur-trimmed outfit. On Easter Sunday, you would need to make color eggs and throw them into the yard to let the kids find them. Some kids will act like a snake to find the chocolate eggs and some kids will run all around the yard to find them. These are the holidays that Taiwan usually doesn’t have.

Lastly, you don’t need to stay with the naughty boys in our class. Except for, “Teacher Leza, I forgot to bring my text book.” or“Teacher Leza, I forgot to bring my writing folder.” or even “Teacher Leza, I forgot to write my planning.” You can just go back to your hometown and swim in the swimming pool. If you go back to your country, you don’t need to shout at the naughty boys that brawl in your class everyday, like “Jason! Don’t talk with Wayne 8!” or“Benny! Sit down!” This will make a bad memory of us. The best thing that will make you happy is that you don’t need to check these terrible essays so many times. You don’t need to write, “Grammar!” or” Don’t Copy!” or “Show, Don’t Tell”. I think getting away from this terrible class and essays is a good idea!

 Many people living in other countries may think mostly about their hometowns. You can stay with your parents and friends if you go back to your country. You may celebrate your home’s holidays and day offs if you go back. The best reason you would like to go back for is that you won’t need to correct these terrible essays and stay with these naughty boys. Trust me; being at your country will be better than any other place, so go pack your baggages!
