B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

Robbie, Eu, and I got up pretty early and go fishing. Later, David, Delian, and Russel came and fish with us. I can’t really fish, so I just stay at the dock and watch them fish or help them to get the hook out of the fish’s mouth. We used up all the worms that Mr. Spearman and Robbie bought yesterday, so Mr. Spearman went to the town and buy more, so he didn’t really fish with us.

Later, Auntie, Jenny, and Zoe went down and fish with bread. It doesn’t work well, but they still can fish little fish like Sunfish or the Blue Gills. The largest fish that we had caught is a Bass that’s about ten feet. We let all of them go because they’re all too small to eat. Still, we had a lot of fun watching and fishing.

Later, lot’s of Robbie’s relatives came over. They all stay at downstairs so we can only stay upstairs and play video games, especially the baseball game. All of us had a try and play it for a long time. But later we end up playing another game.

Robbie, Delian, and Russel were putted in a little corner with the sofa and the table blocked on both side. The rest of us will squeeze pillows and blankets on top of it and see who can stay the longest in it. Russel and Delian play a lot of time, every time when they try to get out, we used more pillows to squeeze them back in it again. When it’s Robbie’s time (he only get in once), all of the people except Eu and I went to play hide and seek. Auntie was caught the last, she is hiding in a bunch of blankets in another room. She told us to lie to Mr. Spearman that she is gone and see what will happen, but Mr. Spearman didn’t believe us and he’s not worried at all!

We go really full with the delicious lunch, but later we get regret about this. About an hour later, Auntie told us to go to the family reunion party at Auntie Carrio’s house for dinner early to taste their food even though that we’re not in their family. (It’s only 3 P.M.) They invite us as guests so for courtesy, we ate a hamburger and get too full.

We left their party first to headed to the camp. We were late, but Mr. Spearman had already call the camp and tell them the reason. The first counselors that we met are Doug and D.J. Doug took us around the camp and show us about every thing at the camp and tell us some of the rules. I think that he is a really popular counselor in the camp, because when we went pass the cabin of wood duck the girls are screaming to invite Doug in their cabin. But Doug said no since he had to take us to get familiar to the environment.

There is a bad news for us, we still need to join their dinner though that we had already had one in the party. Their dinner is hamburgers and chips with dessert ice cream sandwich. Eu and I can barely finish it, but we still eat it all up. We sat with a counselor called Lucy, at first, we don’t know that she’s a counselor until she introduce to us. She is a pretty short girl and she don’t look like a college student, so we don’t know that she’s a counselor. Our counselor also come and find us during dinner, her name is Erin .

Later, we had all camp game, call you- bet-cha. We need to match the things that the counselor did or think to the correct counselor, when, we got correct or wrong, we need to do silly things, to another counselor. All of the question are funny, but Eu, and I didn’t give them about our suggestion, because we don’t know the rest of our cabin and they had already been for many years so they know most of the answers.

We went to worship later. Their worship is more fun than what we thought. We sing songs about Jesus and the counselors will lead us the actions and the others will play guitars and drums for the music. Well neither of us know the songs so we tried our best to keep track with them. It’s OK because most of the people know the song so it doesn’t really matter.

We had adventure unit night, that is lead by counselor Eric. Only the adventure kids can did this activity (the junior high kids). Tonight, we need to think of our cabin cheer and handshake. As same, Eu and I didn’t give any suggestion, but what they had made up is funny, but we all need to do it.

Later, we had a shower and headed back to the cabin (owl), but Eu and I suddenly find out that we don’t have blankets to sleep. Auntie told us that we don’t need to bring any blankets. She was wrong, what a cold night! But, I’m pretty excited about what will happen tomorrow.
