It was too cold, I can’t sleep well. I woke up a lot of times during the sleep and woke up really early in the morning. I tiptoe out of the cabin for bathroom and then come back and lie on my bed. I used my towels for blankets but I can’t feel a sense of warmth during sleeping.

At seven, the rest of our cabin wake up and we headed for breakfast later, when our things are done. Breakfast is pancakes! I ate too fast, and I recognized that they don’t drink full fat milk here, there is on 2 percent reduce fat milk and zero fat skim milk.

Later, at cabin time after when we finish cleaning our cabin, Erin took us out in the forest to one of the low ropes and let us try on it. There is lots of mosquitoes there so we just stay for a short time. Well they won’t bite us since we put bug spray on, but they still really bother us when they’re fling around our body. When we came back, we played hand knots, Savanna is really good at this game, we played three rounds.

Then it comes to worship time, we sing different songs. I found out that they sing softer songs at the evening worship and sing faster songs (like: Every move I make). They also have a topic every day, and they will have a show called ’Sven & Soley’ to teach us a little about each day’s topic. Their shows are pretty funny, and today’s topic is ‘Step into community’.

Later we we’re separated into different group called quest group, my quest group leader is Samantha. Only Eu and I in our cabin is in this quest group. We went to the play field and talk about a story about community from the Bible and study about God. Later we play two games called:(1)Duck Ducks, and (2)Hand knots. They are both fun games, but in my opinion, I like hand knots better.

We had a fantastic lunch with chicken burger. Right after lunch in the dinning hall the counselors will tell everyone that what you can choose for camper’s choose. They had a contest called ’Mr. Mystery Inspector ’. It’s a cleaning and decorating cabin contest each day, but we didn’t win today. We had a hour of rest time after singing up for camper’s choose.

Right after the rest time, we had camper’s choose. Eu, Taylor, and I choose Ultimate Frisbee which is lead by Bryn and Peter. We choose it because, that we are not interested in the rest of the chooses. Only, three of us are girls who are playing Frisbee. This is my first time to play Frisbee, I only played the defense part. The boys played really well, especially West, Cooper, and Chase.  But there’s a boy who is really annoy, he’s Brandon . This is my first try on Frisbee, so it’s normal that I can’t play well, but he has been in my sarcasm. I hate him, but he’s in the same quest team with me.

We have free time after campers choose before dinner. There are some activities that we can choose to do, like today, there’s swimming and Ultimate Frisbee. But Eu and I went to the dinning hall and buy drinks, they also sell candies and cookies too. We did nothing but talking our feeling about this camp to each other and had a long talk with Doug. We asked him mostly about the things in camp. We also check out and plan the camper’s choose in this week and look at the things in his folder. Later we watch Peter and the other campers play the card games that we know. But the rest of the time, we were really bored. At this moment, I think that the camp wasn’t as exciting as what I except.

Tonight, we had spaghetti for dinner, it’s pretty good, and the sauce is a little different than the sauce in Taiwan . After dinner, in all camp game, we played the counselor hunt. We need to find out all of the counselors hiding in the area that they made. It was a fun game. We find out a lot of people, but we didn’t win, we’re just in the middle, just like most of the people. We cheated by exchanging the counselors that they’ve found, well most of the groups cheated. We still had lots of fun.

But, when we’re heading to worship, Eugenie hurt her foot when she fell down on the way. It doesn’t matter, because we don’t need to stand up a lot during the worship.

Later at the adventure unit night, we did a silly and stupid dance with Eric at first, and then we play a game. We need to know each other really well to answer the questions that Eric want us to guess about the people from our cabin at the front. This is a race so Eu can only help guess but she can’t run up to the front or else her foot will hurt.

There is a great news for us, it’s that we get blankets and sleeping bags form the camp. Yeah!! We did devotion tonight, it’s to say our highs and lows of the day, and we are going to do it every night if it didn’t gets too late at night. Eu and I didn’t say the truth, neither of us said anything about the boring free time.
