My First Mission on Mars
“BANG!”
‘What’s that noise?’ I thought in the darkness. Then, after about an hour, the solar panels finally spread out, and ‘Where am I?’ I shouted. What I can see is only a red world, no plants, people, or any other things back Earth. While I’m thinking, I got a message from the station on Earth,’ Sojourner, this is Earth… here is a new mission for you…, you’re now on Mars… and I want you to…’ My 1st mission!? How can it be? Well I can’t get back until I’m done, so I get on to work.
The work is very dangerous. There are huge mountains and active volcanoes, and their valleys and crater are deep too, there are huge rocks everywhere so I need to be careful on the way. First, I got to a rock called ‘Yogi’, I have my first try of using ASPX, looks fun, I took out a rock and identify it, ’A talc’ I send this message back. Then I took photos of it and send it back to the lander, and I know that the lander will help me send the photo back.
And, something suddenly happened. A huge volcano just erupted besides me, at 25 meters away at my Southeast. I run as fast as I could, wait, the hot lava is flowing to the lander, I must quickly get back and fly back to Earth before the lava melts it. I fly over, and in a very short time just one second before the lava reaches to the lander, we fly up into the atmosphere.
Ha, just that 1 second, I must first send a short message back to tell the station that I’m going back before what they want. They won’t be mad at me, because, I can safely get back, that’ll amaze them.
