Myth:   The Origin of Skin Colors

Athens, in the Aegean Sea, there was an Empire   called Macedonia. People in the country all have pure white skin and lived   happily and pray to the gods every month.

There was a man, called Pinan, that lived in the   empire. As a man, he is beautiful, he had purist white skin in the empire and   a beautiful face. Every women loved him, and so did some man. The king even   married his little daughter to him. He became very arrogant and thinks that   no one will be whiter than him.

One day, he said his thought out loud and challenge   the goddess of beauty during the pray. His sound traveled far away to Mount   Olympus. Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, heard that and asks Zeus for   permission to give that guy a punishment. Zeus agrees her.

After a dazzling light, Aphrodite land in front of   Pinan. Pinan was shocked by the goddess and her beauty, her pray down almost immediately.   “For give me please, goddess.” He cried. The goddess looked down at him and   said, “I appreciate your apologize, but you must earn some punishment, ” she   look at all the people of Macedonia and said “From now on, he will be black,   pure black and everyone in this empire will hate him. I will give you a way   to compensate, you will be immortal and must spend two hours everyday to wash   your body. Everyday you wash you will get whiter, when the day you get your   pevious skin color. You will die.” Then she shift like a lightning and disappear.  

As she disappears, Pinan fainted and start to turn   black. No one touched him and leave him alone at the square. He woke up and   got home in full depression. Every day he spent two hours washing his body,   and hoped to get any more whiter. But nothing changed. Day after day, he realized   what the goddess means. “People’s soul won’t change by changing his or her   skin colors.” He became happy and walked home.

Years later, the empire of Macedonia got lots of   kid running with their skins black but there is no one that seems   uncomfortable.

The   goddess of beauty saw this scene, and she smiled.
