Aug.10兒子國一升國二暑假

Today is the last day to school of this week, which is Friday. And tomorrow will be Saturday! Woohoo! Today we got boring English class again, I think the English class is very boring, Thomas and I tried to tell the teacher that we don’t want to have the English class and go to class with the school buddies. But the teacher said that if we don’t want English class , then the other Taiwanese student students can’t have English class too. So the solution is that, instead of having a boring class, the teacher will try and get us harder questions to do, but I think that the teacher didn’t know that we just don’t like English class! The class is very strange in our plan.

 So we still have boring English class today. Thomas and I need to prepare a presentation about the gold coast which we are going on the next Saturday. The teacher gave us a book about the coast and let us finds some important ideas on the book. Then after that, the teacher wants us to talk about how we feel about Brisbane. Then is lunch time, sandwich and apple.

 Then after lunch, we got a special art class with Ms. Ganes, she’s our art teacher. She teaches us something traditional about how the native Australians ‘dot’ their pictures. It’s very cool because when the western people come to Australia, they brought pant and paint brush, but the Australians thought that the fur on the stick is just for fun. So instead of using the fur on the front, they us the round part at the back to do the pictures. Pretty cool ha?

Tonight, we ate a whole pasta with two kinds of favors for dinner, really delicious. I think the best thing in this homestay is the dinner.
