Aug.9兒子國一升國二暑假

Today is a really sunny day and I must wear my shorts so I won’t keep sweating the whole time. Today, we got English class. After a “great” breakfast, we head up to Jenny’s house, and then we go to school.

First, we go English class in the library. The teacher gives us books and magazines to read and find an interesting thing about Australia. It’s a little bit hard because I got no idea about Australia. But soon something attractive go through my eye, it was pretty and big, it has a color of brown red, it’s a……it’s a……it’s a rock. Yeah it’s a rock, an enormous rock, called Ayers rock. It’s more than 318 m (986 ft) high and 8 km (5 miles) around. It also extends 2.5 km (1.5 miles) into the ground. That was huge! And according to some people’s words, it seems to change its color. After a short break, the teacher wants us to talk about our homestays. It is a fun activity but end up in a boring way.

 After lunch we go a special drama class which is very active. We played bang bang and other fun games, all the games are very active and the one I’d like the best is a game that you need to use only one hand to hit the other’s knees. It’s the most active game I’d ever played. First, you got to be very concentrated; then you got to move very fast; the most important part is that you need to be very alert, so you won’t get hit. Tonight we go back home and realized that our feet were really sore. We got fried noodles for dinner and quickly go to bed.
