B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

This is my first day that I arrive US, my first time tin US. None of the parents are traveling with us, I mean Eugenie (same class), Jenny (going into 3rd grade), Zoe (going into 2nd grade), and my parents. I’m also traveling with my teachers and their family.

We leave Kaohsiung National Airport and fly to Tokyo , Japan first. Robbie, Eu, and I sit together and flight on the plane (just playing). Robbie is trying to play PSP on the plane, but it’s not allowed, so he tell us to keep an eye on every stewardess. Too bad, he’s sitting beside the aisle.

When we are in the airport, all of us are in a hurry, to hurry because we were afraid that we can’t aboard the next airplane on time. When we finally get to the gate, our teacher, Auntie, recognized that she got the wrong time of the boarding time. To apologize us, she bought us ice cream, but Eu and I need to run very far the exchange for Yen.

Later, we get on another airplane and started a long fight to Huston , Texas , which is about 14 hours. Seven of us sit apart this time, all the other people sit together except Eu and me. During the flight, we play a lot of games together, especially the game ‘Invasion’, watch the movies and listen to the music. We didn’t really sleep through the whole flight. There are Chinese songs too, I’m so happy to hear Chinese songs on American airlines. Also, when we left the plane, the stewardess speaks Japanese to us!

AND, the same problem happens to us at the airport again. Both of our teachers mess us the time again but this time it’s because of the time zone. Well on the way, we must look silly. When we were immigration, Jenny and Zoe didn’t answer the worker’s questions so it took us a lot of time to explain to them.. On the way, Auntie also run without her shoes tied. The funniest part is when we arrive the gate in a hurry, all the people there were looking at us. When we ask the worker about the plane, he told us that we are a hour early. Well, we still got on the plane and get to Minneapolis, MN .

Auntie Beth, Robbie’s aunt, is waiting for us at the airport, but Robbie’s luggage is gone. So we went to Auntie’s Beth home without his luggage. On the way, Robbie, Eu,  and I sleep on Auntie Beth’s car. Auntie Beth’s house is beside a pond in a forest far away from any town (nearest: about 20min drive). It’s really awesome, it’s clean, small but comfortable. The furniture are really new, and there’s a dock by the pond so we can go fishing or swimming. There’s also a cabinet full of snacks, candies, and the refrigerator is full with drinks or other food for us to eat or cook.. I really like this house.
