Ancient World Vacation

Dear Professor:

Sorry that I climb in your new time machine, I don’t know how it works, I just press the red bottom and the time machine starts to fly.

It first bring me the China Great Wall, it’s in the Ming dynasty, all the men and the solders are working very hard on building the wall. Some solders are defeating the Mongols from the North, Mongolians are fast and great horse riders, they can travel fast by horses. Then I travel to their capital city, I went in to the castle invisibly, I saw the queens and the kings having fun in it, they don’t even know that the Mongolians are attacking China , or the hard working citizens. The emperors are bad, they don’t think about his people. He only cares about himself.

Then, I travel east to the Central America and find the Aztecs. I see the Spanish are having fun in the ceremonies with the Aztec ruler; they have their city in a middle of a lake with only one road out. That’s dangerous if the enemies are attacking them, the only way to escape might be block by the enemies. I also afford their ceremony, Cortex is drinking the wine and has lots of delicious food, but I felt a sense of danger so I went back to the time machine. At night noises are coming to my ears, I peek out, a war! Cortez is leading his army to the city and attacking the city, poor Aztec, they die at last.

At last, I got to Ghana , a trading country in the middle of the desert. There are lots of rich minerals under the ground, there’s lots of gold and iron over there, the down level citizens can also have gold decorations on their body. The special thing is that the salt businessman don’ tell anyone about their mine, the traders can only trade at certain place so people can’t find their mine. They can travel long distance by camels to trade things in the desert, that’s a hard work at that time!

Well thought that this trip was a fun trip, I’m finally going home, I’ll put your time machine 3 days later when you got this letter. I want to stay here later to have more fun to find about other ancient cultures. See you 3 days later!
