I was looking forward to a new class today. I was guessing which class I am going to be in. :) I met Emma on the way, and I also asked her if they’re still having advanced class. She told me gracefully that they are still having this class, because more people are going into that class. @_@ But I found nobody in our original classroom. I was going to ask about more information in the office when I went downstairs and met Katja. Since nobody came to tell us which class are we going to be in, I went into our original classroom and found out Georgina wrote a note on the white board. She told us to go to the classroom in Building No.9. = = … We don’t know what is going on. So we went there, open the door, and saw Georgina writing something on the board inside a BIG classroom. After seeing this classroom, I know that I don’t have the chance to be in Alex’s class. QAQ Well, having a bigger class is still good news. There were 12 people in our morning class! I was frightened about being in such a big class after being in a three-people class for a week. Oscar and Martin also transferred from Karen’s class to ours! Jaime seemed happy about that. (Since they are all Spanish :P) In the morning class, Georgina gave us a piece of sheet to make us get to know each other. The sheet is easier than the lessons we had last week, I guess she is trying to know each person’s level. There is a girl form France called Michi who is only 14, but she looks very mature! +_+ Why did foreign girls always looks so beautiful and mature? I complained to Michelle, Flo, and others in Emma’s classroom at the break time. I just can’t get used to the big class… Michelle knew about that as well, since three people, who were Michi, Caroline(?), and Stefano, in their class transferred to ours. I wanna transfer to their class as well…… We were going to call one of the Chinese restaurants for takeaways, but then some of us decide to go to the Chinese restaurant called Sesame near Select for lunch. Then it came to the afternoon class. Carolina and Michi went back to their original class, because they think Alex’s class is more fun and interesting. I want to join their class as well… >_< However, a new student, Sanleen, from Hong Kong is joining us. We were talking about both Western and Chinese constellations (though I remembered it’s called the Chinese Zodiac). I couldn’t remember the English names of the constellations, but it was very funny when I saw classmates guessing the animals of Chinese Zodiac, some of them were surprised when they know panda wasn’t one of them. XD Only Lisa, Judy, and I went to Sesame for lunch, because others don’t want to spend money on lunch. = = Karen also joined us on the way when we met her. Because she had been here before, she suggested two people share one dish together. We ordered two different dishes, some of the Chinese name of food is different than Taiwan (ex:ham=午餐肉). Each dish is big, well, the right amount for two girls. The boss (I guess) also came and chat with us since there weren’t other customers. She thought that we were Chinese students from ET, since there were a group Hong Kong students the other day, but we were actually not. :) Maybe we will come again this week. On the way back, I get myself a yogurt that I’ve tried before in host family. It was banana (?) yogurt (I couldn’t taste the banana = =) with chocolate coated cornflakes. It was SOOOOOOO delicious, though it’s hard to finish the rest of them with the something which looks like the combination of fork and spoon. Sanleen thought I only have yogurt for lunch when she came into our classroom. XDD We are going to perform a piece of drama at Friday afternoon in the church, well EVERY class is performing. I was wondering if I can perform since we were leaving on Friday afternoon. I wasn’t sure so I didn’t tell them about it. The three Spanish boys have a strong opinion towards Lord of the Rings, so we decided to make fun of it. I chose Gollum (since no one wants it), Jaime even joked that I’ll be a good one. (Is that racial discrimination? = =) We went to St. Mary Church after class, and it is actually the church that is right besides Kings College ! Well, it is a CHURCH. All churches looks similar form the inside (a bit tired of visiting churches…), but this time, we get to see the view of Cambridge up from the tower. :) The circular stairs are steep, and narrow. Michelle looked afraid, so I walk slowly in front of her, waiting for her to catch up with me. We saw the place where people rang the bell everyday on our way to the top. There was more than one bell in that room! 0.0 We were the last to get up there, but the view was AWESOME!! We can see a lot of things there, it makes me feel like I’m living in the Middle. XD Most of the students didn’t stay for a long time, however, Michelle, Lisa, and I stayed a bit longer to enjoy the wind blowing on our face. I’m glad it wasn’t really sunny, but I hope it won’t rain since it was really cloudy. I have a picture with Sunleen, but I didn’t look good on it due to the wind. There is still plenty of time before we had to meet Sharon at Nando’s for dinner, so we did a bit of shopping AGAIN at the city center.= = Karen made me (?) lead other people to the souvenir shop where she bought her jacket. Joe seemed to like it and bought the same jacket Karen did, but a black one. We stopped in a souvenir shop and waited for the rain to stop. I WAS going to buy a mug, but I put it back because I’m afraid to break it on my way home. Then I stayed outside with Edison (smoking). I was wondering does he get bored waiting for a bunch of people shopping, but he said it’s OK. We stopped by the green McDonalds because other people in our group think it’s a fresh thing. They also went into a card shop, I just stayed outside in the rain this time. We also stopped by a chocolate shop and think if we’re going to buy some or not. We decided to wait until we get to Belgium . :P We waited in the city center until dinner time because of the rain. Michelle, Flo, Becca, and I were looking at the trees on both sides of the hallway. They were fake tree, however, as we look closer inside the leaves, we found out that the fake leaves were stick in real branches! I bet only such boring person like us will notice this. XD Nando’s is a restaurant based on chicken. I also helped some people while ordering, though I just stand besides them and did almost nothing. Well, I did translate a few words. XD I couldn’t decide what to eat for a long time, but then I ordered a quarter of chicken with two side dishes, which I chose spicy rice and smashed potato. The staff at the counter told me that the spicy rice isn’t spicy, but IT IS (a bit)!! I can even see chili in it. QAQ The smashed potato is a bit dry on the surface, but it still tasted good. A few of us chose chips, which ended up with a mountain of chips on their plate. It looked like twice of the size of the smashed potato. I’m glad that I have the leg instead of the breast, I tried some and found out that the leg tastes better. I guess I’m the first one to finish my dish. It is so delicious~~ The size of large chips and normal one are REALLY different. It’s about three times of normal size but the price wasn’t doubled. If you ordered soft drinks, you can refill it as much as you want. Some we orders four or five together and share the drinks together. Sharon ordered beer for herself, and Lisa eventually had a few sips! o.0 All of us laugh and joked Judy to be careful when they’re going home. Some of the people said the toilet looks freaky. I went for a look, and found a NORMAL toilet. = = I went back and asked them why is it freaky, and all of them said going pass two doors to get in is a freaky thing. I don’t know what to say after hearing it. Judy and Tiffany get to have free yogurt! Well, it’s not actually free. We need to pay for the frozen yogurt, but they don’t know, and nobody saw them. When Flo, Becca, and I were going to get some, the staff came to us and told us that we need to pay for them. = = So all of us just get a sip from theirs. I can’t say it’s delicious, because I like the taste of yogurt better than frozen ones. We were chatting, pretty loud I guess, in the restaurant, and I’m glad that the staffs didn’t came to us and told us to be quiet. We took a lot of photos as well. Some of the girls were trying to take a picture of one of the man sitting near our table. I didn’t think he is really handsome= =, as long as they are happy. All of us just skip the evening activity (I remember it’s rounder). While the others headed to the bus station, Karen and I were taking pictures in front of the restaurant. Just when we finish taking pictures, we saw the bus went pas us!! So Karen and I started running or else we’ll have to wait for half an hour. We did get onto the bus on time. :) The others said that they helped us gain for some time, because they were afraid we won’t catch the bus. I learned something from this event: running with a backpack is easier than a side one. XDDD
