Karen and I were talking about when to give Saila the present we should have gave her at the first day on the way to school. We were planning to give her when we are leaving. Then she told us that she will be leaving on Thursday early in the morning, because they are going on a trip. = = (Is this what NORMAL host families do?) We finally decided to give her at dinner time, if she is free.
In one of Georgina ’s classes, two students knock on our door, and gave Stefano a piece of cake because it’s Andrea’s birthday!! I totally forgot her birthday, well, I DID remember it was on the second week. :P I think I’ll gave her a present, I need to search in my suitcase to see what suits her the best.
Going into Flo’s classroom at break time is becoming a normal thing, since there are five Taiwanese students there, and it’s easier to discuss things there. Emma and Andy had already take is as a normal thing, and they also welcomed us there. It is volleyball in the afternoon, but because of last week’s experience, we all want to slip away and do our own things.
I told Sophi that I am sure that I can’t perform on Friday, and she said she already got the news that we are going to Paris on Friday. = =?! I didn’t even tell her that we are going to Paris ! I think that Thomas had told a lot of teachers about our schedule since he is one of the managers.
At lunch, I followed a few people to Sesame for lunch. I was going to share with another girl, but she then decide to share with Lavie, which we met on the way. It’s actually better, because I wasn’t hungry at all. Joe and Edison each ordered one for themselves, and they like it (I guess). They said they haven’t eaten rice during the past two weeks, and I already ate three times. o.0 I helped out, because the boss is busy today. There is a group of Chinese students having lunch at the same time, and the whole restaurant became very noisy. = = I like the atmosphere here last time.
I didn’t order anything at Sesame. Instead, I bought a cup of hot chocolate at Costa, which is right across the road. It tastes pretty good! (Not the price :P) Edison started complaining about Lavie after she finishes and left the restaurant. He thinks that she doesn’t know a lot and she is way too pampered. After hearing some of the things she did before, I couldn’t argue with him.
This is the first time we practice our drama. Since I couldn’t act out, so I eventually became the director?! All of my classmates were wondering why I couldn’t act out. I REALLY want to act out and be at the farewell party!! T^T Still, I didn’t tell them that I’m going to Paris , I only said we’re leaving at Friday afternoon. :P
The rehearsal is really fun. We didn’t really make fun of Lord of the Rings. = = (though I was looking forward to that…) Though I was the director, Sophi did most of the things for me, including writing the script, telling them where to stand…… :P Watching them is fun, Oscar kept telling Carolina to kneel down and walk because they are acting out Frodo and Sam. The whole scene looks extremely interesting. XD
As soon as we reach the Parker’s Piece, we were trying to slip away. However, it’s not as easy as last time. = = Lisa told us that the teachers were a bit angry about us, because they didn’t know where we went after we left quietly yesterday. So today they told us to inform them when we are leaving. Even when we were chatting, there is a teacher keeping an eye on us through a distance!
We discuss for a moment, and decide to sat down for a few minutes and then go away. I watch the boys play volleyball. Others started to sit/lie down and listen to music. I also saw the Karen’s classmate, from Hong Kong , playing pretty well. :)
I was the representative and went to ask one of the teachers. Actually, I’m the one who is willing to go, since I’ve planning to go on a walk on the Mill Road . I chose one who look kind XD, and asked if we can leave earlier or not. That teacher kept persuading us to stay, she also said that she is going to buy another volleyball for us, since there is only one, and they want more people to play instead of chat. I still insisted that all of us want to go shopping for souvenir, so the teacher laugh and let us go.
I went alone walking on Mill Rd. , hope that I won’t get lost. XD There weren’t many people on the road, though there were still a lot of people looking at me when I’m taking pictures of myself. = = I walked into both of the Chinese shops, all of the things in there are more expensive than back in Taiwan . The koala cookie costs more than ₤2 !! o.0 one is small, and the other is messy and dirty. I didn’t stay long at either of them, because I’m afraid that Karen and I couldn’t get home by five thirty.
I went on the bus at the train station, and then take the bus to the bus station. (tired of walking XD)(ßNO!! I NEED EXERCISE!) I called Karen, and told her to meet me at the bus station. However, I couldn’t found her when I arrived! She told me to go to the store she is in now, because she and her friend were shopping. = = I went and bought a BIG piece of chocolate chip cookie on the way. Then I saw Sanleen in the store with Karen and another girl. Karen explained she was shopping for shoes with Sanleen, and they haven’t found the shoes they like. Since they seemed very happy, so I also added into them.
I followed them into one shoe store, and I also gave comments to Sanleen. She REALLY likes shoes. o.0 I kept an eye on the time, but I didn’t remind Karen until it’s about five thirty. = = (Since I’m not hungry) To my surprise, Karen take it really easy! o.0 After a few questions, I figured out that she eventually forget the time to go home. = = I’m really speechless…
Andrea had already finished her dinner when we got home. She said the wrap tasted better when it’s cold, so neither of us put it in the microwave. The wrap tasted AWESOME! Saila putted potato, chicken, and lamb in it. Though the potato is a bit spicy, but it promotes the whole flavor. I’m really regretted that I had that chocolate chip cookie before dinner, because I don’t have more space for the second piece. T^T
I found some book marks in my suitcase (thank goodness that I throw them I my suitcase before I left home), and choose one for Andrea. Karen didn’t want to give her a present, well, that’s her problem. I knock on her door, and gave her the bookmark and a Kitkat bar that I bought a few days ago when it’s on sale. (ß18 sticks for only ₤1 !!) She seems glad, and I took a picture with her. :)))))
We decided to give our presents to Saila before we left for the evening activity, because we were afraid to disturb them when we get home late. Karen gave up explaining the 劍獅 she brought from Taiwan. Saila is pretty surprised to see that decoration, though I explained it means to keep away the disasters and diseases. There is also another man there, I guess he’s Moreman’s dad (JUST guessing), and he helped us took a picture together. :)))
Andrea is going to Disco again, and so did the Hong Kong students. Andrea was confused why I didn’t want to try Disco while I’m willing to try new things. Well, Disco didn’t attract me after I heard Andrea explained what they’d done last time. So, I rather stayed at Select with my friends, and I even promise that I will bring my laptop to Select today because they want to surf the Internet. :)
Mattina and I tried a new kind of board game, called CLUEDO, with both of the teachers. It’s a game that you need to guess who, where, and how the murderer killed the servant in the house. Each of us will get a few clues. After that, we make our guesses, and if somebody can prove I’m wrong, they will show me (only me) the card to prove it. It’s a really fun game, but REALLY hard to guess three of them at the same time. :P We ate a lot of Walkers, and also finished two big bottles of Coke. :))
Other students played Seven and wait for their turn to use my laptop, actually, most of them logged in Facebook as soon is their turn. Karen and Lisa kept doing their best to teach a Japanese boy, Yui, how to play the game, however, the Little boy Kept ignoring Karen. = = Lisa even pulled me away while I’m playing with teachers simply because she couldn’t use the laptop since Edison use it for five minutes. XDD All of us couldn’t stop laughing. There is always a lot of fun between them.
We headed to Tesco AGAIN, and we also invited Yui to come with us, Lisa and Judy didn’t come with us this time. On the way, Joe is worried about Yui because he seemed afraid when Karen is talking to him. Joe said that Karen just kept asking him questions, since the beginning of the evening activity, and didn’t think about Yui’s feelings. = = I think it’s because his is Japanese, because they usually don’t like people asking them questions like that.
Going to Tesco doesn’t mean buying things to me now. It’s more like having a relax walk with friends at night, and having a chance to talk with each others in such beautiful and cool night. Well, I still bought a chocolate bar and shared it with Yui, since there were two inside and he didn’t buy anything as well. :))
On the way back, Joe did his best to separate Karen with Yui, Karen was really mad about that. She was planning to send Yui home even he said it’s OK since he had walked home alone for several times. The whole thing became something like: Karen want to FOLLOW him home. = = (I don’t know if I’m right or not…) However, other people stopped her and we separated at the bus stop.
Karen was really angry about Joe’s criticism, because Joe kept blaming Karen that she should scared Yui. They had a quarrel at the bus stop, and ended up really FUNNY. They stopped the conversation, and talk about other things. I must say, Yui is the only one who knows the truth. :P Just right after that, we saw Lisa and Judy on Bus 3, because they got on the right bus, but the opposite direction. So, the eventually take the bus to the end, and come back again. XDDDD
I found that the symbols at the back of ￡1 differs! I guess I’ll have to use all of my coins up before I leave England , since we can only change paper bills. :P
