B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

We went there by bus, I fell asleep on it and woke up when we’re about there. The bus stopped across the London Eye, which is across the river. It is one of the filming locations of Fantastic 4. One of the cockpits is red while the others are blue! I really want to have a ride and see the view of London from there, but we couldn’t.

We tried to take some pictures so we were behind the team. Andy (this is another one) kept telling us to move forward and stopped taking pictures. Since all of us chose the ‘walking’ tour, we couldn’t stop at each sight too long. We went pass the Big Ben quickly. Sharon didn’t notice that the traffic light turns green and she kept taking pictures of us. As a result of this, we were WAY behind the team. = =

After meeting with the others at the UK Parliament House, we headed to the Westminster Abbey. There is a REALLY long line of people waiting outside. I didn’t know what is inside and wasn’t interested in it at all. I took a picture with Georgina and Sophi together in front of it. :)

We headed to the Hyde Park, which is a park near the Buckingham Palace . It started pouring when we get there! We missed the Royal Guard Ceremony because we got there late. :( But we saw four cavalries(騎兵) at the intersection besides the Palace, one of them is girl! The Buckingham Palace isn’t as majestic as what we thought. On the way back to the meeting place, we witnessed a scooter rider slipped and fell. Luckily that he can get up and kept riding.

We walked through the Admiralty Arch, got to the Trafalgar Square and Nelson Monument . We didn’t stay long, but Sharon briefly told us about the story of Nelson, who was once a general that beaten Napoleon. However, we just walked through it and didn’t even stop for one minute! There is a countdown electronic clock for the 2012 London Olympics at the Square. There’re 377 days left for the Olympics, I’m excepting it to come. ^^

We finally got to Covent Garden, which is our last sight for today. It was still raining, but not as strong as before. Like other people, Lisa, Judy, Michelle, and I sat down at a corner in the market and started to enjoy our sandwiches made by our home mom. Sharon told us that this is a good place to find souvenirs, and there are also some street performances to watch as well. After lunch, I stayed at the same place because I volunteer help the people who were going to the bathroom to look over their bags. There is a Chinese seafood fired rice vendor on the basement. A lot of people are waiting for the rice. Sharon bought that for lunch. The smallest one costs ₤4 for the smallest one! o.0 Well, it looks pretty delicious.

I went to the toilet besides the church which is across the Apple Market. I saw a lot of girls using the hand dryer to dry their shoes and clothes. = =

After I went back into the group, Tiffany introduce us her classmate , who is a profession model in Russia . She tries to memorize everyone’s names, but I think it’s too hard for her. She eventually started calling Edison ‘husband’! >//< She showed us a lot of her photos in her iphone. They were all really good! It’s hard to believe that she is younger than me, because all of her pictures looked so mature! >.< Then Sharon started to imitating her actions. She looks really funny because her face looks funny.

We all went to an ice cream store, only Edison and I didn’t buy one. I helped Karen to order it (why can’t she ordered by herself), and also paid for her because she couldn’t found her wallet when the staff is giving her the ice cream. = = Ok, if she didn’t want to practice her English then it’s her own problem if her English didn’t improve. The ice cream is really big and sweet, but two balls for ₤4. :P

We hanged around in the Apple Market, I didn’t really buy anything. I went into a muffin store with the Russian model, the cream topping looks really beautiful. We also went into a candy store together. I bought a bag of mint candy, though I don’t know of it tastes good or not. The Russian model also bought a bag, she gave me one piece of candy and it actually tastes good. We went into an English tea shop, I was thirsty so I drank several cups of tea there. I was going to buy one with Karen together (on sale if buy three at once), but then I putted it back because I don’t think my mom will like it if I bring it back.

We left the Apple Market and went outside. There is a Chinese sitting in the middle of the street and is performing a special kind of instrument. Edison said it is費玉清’s song, = = but I wasn’t sure. We went into a stationary store. I was willing to buy a THICK notebook which is separated by 10 plastic pages, but it is really expensive so I gave up my mind.

I went into a clothes’ shop beside the stationary store. Some of the clothes in there look good but all of them are REALLY expensive. There is also another Disney shop there, the things in there are basically the same as the one in Cambridge .

I also went in to a stuffed-toy store. It’s different than the ones in Taiwan . You can choose with stuffed-toy you want, you pay and take it to one of the staffs. Then he will help you put the cotton inside the stuffed-toy. 0.0 There are also a lot of other parts for the stuffed-toys like: clothes, shoes, etc. selling in the store. A lot of parents were buying things for their children, this shop must have earned a lot of money. - -

The sun came out, so Tiffany and I took pictures with the Covent Garden. However, while I found out that my gray jacket is gone!! 0.0 (OH MY -------!) I went searching in every shop I’ve been to, but I couldn’t see my jacket anywhere. While feeling bad, I went into a cookie shop and bought a big piece of chocolate chip cookie. :( I couldn’t find my jacket, and there wasn’t enough time for me bought a new jacket here. Hope tomorrow is a good day so I don’t need to bring my jacket.

While waiting for all of the students to come, we watch a person performing in front of the Apple Market. I found him pretty humor, but I didn’t really like his performance. = = While walking to where the bus is waiting for us. One of the teachers thought that there are no more students left behind while I was talking to Sophi. She thought that I am one of the teachers in Select. XD Georgina and Sophi told her that I‘m a student.

I heard some of the Taiwanese screaming in Chinese after seeing Edison put him arm around the Russian Model when Sharon want to take a picture for both of them. Some other students asked me what happened, and I explained to them. They didn’t seem surprised, I don’t think that hugging is a big deal to them.

Since Karen and I had already told Saila that we are eating out tonight, so we headed to the city center right away when we got back to Cambridge . Karen and I first went searching for the Cambridge jacket in the souvenir shops near the Kings College . She bought a jacket for herself, but I didn’t find any I would want to wear. So we headed to one of the restaurant we went pass on the way to the souvenir shop.

The restaurant is small, I ordered fish and chips while Karen ordered one-fourth chicken with chips. I don’t want to convince Karen to practice English anymore, because she doesn’t look like she wants to improve her English at all. = = The dish is REALLY big, there are a lot of chips on both of our plates. The fish was ok, and the chicken is a little bit dry.

Both of us even took a picture of the GREEN McDonald on when we went pass it. :) I got a call from Saila, and she told me to give her the dirty clothes when we get back home. She will do the laundry for us at night so it will be dry tomorrow.
