B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

As same as usual, we wake up at seven, but the truth is I woke up a lot of times. There are some of our cabin mates went to take a shower at 6:30 and they’re pretty noisy so I can’t sleep well. When Eu and I went to take a shower, we recognized that THERE’S NO HOT WATER! I have a cold, freezing shower.

I had 4 pieces of pancakes and some cereal for breakfast, and I started to notice that I eat too much. Maybe I should eat less, to loose some of my weight, or else I’ll get too fat.

We went back to our cabin to clean and decorate our cabin with balloons and ribbons, because today is Sara’s birthday! After we finish all the work, we play Two Minute’s of Faith and also eat the chocolate brownie that Sara and her mother made for us. At first we want to leave a piece of brownie for the Mr. Mystery Inspector, but we finish all of them.

We had a lot of fun in the worship, and we sing new songs. The senior highs will lead us to sing the songs. I think that they’ve practice during the weekend (they stay at the camp through the weekend). They’re all good songs too.

Eu and I are in the same quest group this week, and our new quest group leader is Lucy. There are lots of people from our cabin are in this quest group. We played a get-to-know-you game called ’Jump in, Jump out’. I’ve never played this before, but I know the rules to play it. Later we talked a lot about the community, Eu and I discuses a lot with Lucy since we already know a lot by learning through the pass three weeks.

At lunch, Eu and I sit with Jake, and the burger is delicious. I also forgot that I need to eat less. During lunch, Jake asks us to make up a Chinese name for him after he knows that Jenny and Zoe make up a Chinese name for Brooke and he envy her. Eu and I agree to make a Chinese name for Jake, and we also ask what meaning he wants to be in his name. We make it up right away by the table, and Jake wants us to write it down for him.

We had a lot of fun playing Frisbee at the camper’s choose. There are more senior highs that came and play this time. It’s really fun, but there is a Adventure kid called Addie that makes Cole and Kyle really annoy, because he kept disturb them while playing. At last, Laura (from the senior high camp) and I help it out to keep Addie away from them.

At free time, Eu and I stay in the dinning hall eating our chips and teach Jenny and Zoe the song “Hand in Hand”, we all decided to sing this song on Wednesday lunch if they call us up to sing.

After the delicious dinner (I also eat too much), the counselor hunt is fun. Eu, Jenny, Zoe and I are in a team. We didn’t win this time, because we didn’t go into the woods for a long time. We also saw a little deer behind one of the Adventure cabin (I think it’s GBH), we tried to take a picture, but there is another group that talks and walk loudly, so they scared them away. It came so close to us, less than one meter! There are also some Discovery campers that think that Eu and I one of the counselors hiding when we’re checking the kayaks. Do we look like counselors?

At worship, while everyone else are singing, Eu and I decided to make up a Chinese name for every counselor in this camp for a gift to thank them for the pass three weeks. We decide that we need to give it all out before Friday’s evening worship. We also invite them to take a picture with us after the closing ceremony on Saturday.

After the worship, the adventure unit night is fun. We got most of the answers correct, but we didn’t win, because we’re not fast enough. When it’s my turn to run to answer Eu’s part, one boy cheated. When we got to Eric, I get there faster, but Eric said the Robins got here faster than me. I was faster!! But the game is still really fun.
