B媽Letting Go孩子放手飛~

2008.7.13(SUN)

In the morning, I woke up three times. Finally at the last time, I get up and had breakfast.

After breakfast, we pack up the things for the camp and write some math questions. Later I went upstairs and took a shower. We also play video games before Mr. Spearman is ready to take us to the clubhouse.

It’s almost noon when Mr. Spearman took us to the club house. They had already been there before. We want to play basketball, but the office is close, it’s only open on Monday to Friday. So we can’t borrow the ball. Three of us ended up playing the pool in the basement, at first, we’re playing regularly, but then we messed all up, shooting the balls everywhere and even shoot it down the pool table. Eu and Robbie also play the mini soccer, and Robbie, shoot one ball into his own goal by himself.

Lunch is pasta and the bass that I caught yesterday. The pasta is pretty tasty, there are lots of cabbage and carrot in it, and the sauce that Auntie make is good. Before we leave, we went up stairs and play some of the videos games. Jenny brought the rest of the cake (only 3pieces left) to the camp.

When we first got there, we met Doug and Jake first. Doug told us that us that which cabin are we in. Jenny also give a piece of her cake to Doug (she was talking it all the way). This week we’re in Wood Duck, and the two little guys are still in Blue Jays. We were afraid to go to the Wood Duck at first, but then we found out that none of them are coming this week, and we also change our counselor. This week our counselor is Sheila, because Emily went back home for some reason, or other wise, Emily will be our counselor.

We had the opening ceremony, we didn’t go to the ceremony last week, because we were at the party. It was almost the same as worship, but the counselors will introduce themselves. We also went to take swimming test. Today is pretty windy, Eu and I can only pass the shallow water test (or at there we called it the red test). We tried the green test, but because it’s too windy, so the waves are really big and we can’t swim really well when it’s that windy. We didn’t pass the green test, and none of the campers in out cabin pass it.

Before dinner, we play two minutes of faith at the sunset benches when we finish the swimming test and we didn’t go back and change. When we’re finish, dinner is ready. Dinner is also hamburger and the ice cream sandwich again!

The all camp game is still you-bet-cha, but this time we did worse than last time, because Eu and I can barely remember anything from last week. After the game, Bryn come and ask Shelia that if he can be a honor member of the Wood Ducks. After our whole cabin’s digestion, we decide to let he be the honor member of the Wood Ducks, and he need to learn our cabin cheer, cabin shake and the call and respond.

At the worship, we found out that the sound is smaller than last week. Last week, we can barely hear our voice, but this week we can clearly hear our voice. We went back to change our clothes for the adventure unit night.

We need to do the same thing as last week. Our cabin cheer, cabin shake and the call and respond are strange and silly. It’s mostly Sophia and Shelia’s idea, because none of us can think of any other ideas. I can’t imagine that Bryn need to learn these three things.
